Addiction Services


Addiction Services have programs in Barrie, Midland, Collingwood, Orillia and Alliston.

Adult Program
Provides outpatient treatment for those who are concerned about their own or someone else’s use of alcohol, or drug.

Harm reduction philosophy.

Assessment will determine course of treatment options.

Individual as well as group counselling is offered.

Youth Program
Provides early intervention to youth, while assisting in making healthy choices regarding substance use.

Harm reduction philosophy.

Individual counselling, for those 24 years of age and under.

Assessment will determine course of treatment options.

Addictions Services Initiative (ASI) with Ontario Works
To provide outpatient counselling services to individuals whose substance use may be a barrier to employment. The individual is screened through Ontario Works and referred to the ASI program by their Transition Worker.

Gambling Program
Provides outpatient treatment services for those who are concerned about their own or someone else’s gambling behaviour.

Assessment will be completed to ensure appropriate treatment interventions.

Individual counselling is offered.

Opioid Treatment Program

The Opioid Treatment program provides counselling and support to anybody concerned about their use of opioids or who is on a Methadone or Suboxone program. If you are currently receiving Methadone Maintenance Treatment from another service provider you are still eligible to receive services through this program. Service is also available to concerned family and friends.

Counselling is also available to women who are pregnant and using substances or parents who are using substances and have children under 6 years of age.

Accessing services is easy. Simply call the number in your region. There is no cost for services.

Community Withdrawal Management Program
Provides outpatient services to individuals seeking support while experiencing mild to moderate withdrawal from alcohol or drugs. Support is also offered to individuals that are completing a physician directed taper from medications.

Assessment will determine treatment options.
